Mumbai – This issue was echoed in the assembly today when Disha Salian’s father filed a petition in the Bombay High Court to reopen the case of death. The ruling BJP-Shiv Sena MLAs created a ruckus demanding Aditya Thackeray’s arrest in the case.
BJP members raised this issue as soon as the assembly proceedings started. The legislators said that the police have rejected Disha’s death as suicide. The SIT constituted by the government has not yet submitted any report. There are many speculation on social media about the circumstances of Disha’s death. Now Disha’s father is claiming that Disha was murdered after gang rape. He has filed an application in the court. In this case, a minister of the previous Maha Vikas Aghadi Government is involved in this case. The then mayor pressured Disha’s father to suppress the case. People with political influence and people born with a spoon of silver should not be released. All those nominated by Disha’s father should be arrested.
Nitesh Rane said that the Supreme Court has ruled that those against whom the allegations have been made should be arrested immediately and questioned whether former minister Aditya Thackeray would be arrested.
When the MLA moved forward with enthusiasm on this issue, Chairman Rahul Narvekar adjourned the proceedings of the House for ten minutes. Later, when the proceedings started, BJP and Shiv Sena MLAs came to the table of the president in the House and started raising slogans like ‘justice, justice’, ‘arrest, arrest’ and obstructed the proceedings. For this reason, Chairman Norwekar adjourned the proceedings of the House for 10 minutes. 10 minutes later, as soon as the proceedings of the House started again, the ruling party again raised the same issue.
Later, when the House’s proceedings started again, Minister of State for Home Yogesh Kadam said that the SIT investigation is still going on. Salian’s father has also made the state government side in his petition. We will take action as per the order of the court. No matter how politically connected or influential, he will not be spared. He said that the law is the same for all.
