The rules of Fastag changed! If you also run a car, then know this thing, otherwise there will be loss

To fastag According to the new announcement made, although it has been made mandatory in all the states of the country, it is still being relaxed in some states. Now fastag has been made mandatory for all vehicles in Maharashtra. Fastag is a small RFID tag that helps the drivers to pay toll automatically. This tag is applied on the windscreen of the vehicle and directly connected to the bank account. If there is no fastag, the driver will have to give double toll.

Fastag will work on every toll

Fastag is designed in such a way that any driver can use his fastag on any toll plaza, even if it is run by any company. Due to the fastag system, vehicles do not have to stop at toll booths, saving both time and fuel. Therefore, as long as you have time, you should get a fastag on your vehicle.

If the remaining amount is low then you will be put in the black list.

If there is not enough balance in the bank account, the fastag will be blacklisted. In such a situation, the driver will not be able to use the toll-free system and will have to pay cash at the toll plaza. The NPCI has launched the NETC program to simplify toll payments and ensure that the fastag system works throughout the country.

Fastag is available from all banks

Once a vehicle is fasted, it cannot be transferred to another vehicle. This tag can be purchased from any bank and is part of the National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) system. If the fastag is connected to the prepaid account, the driver will have to recharge the account when the remaining amount is exhausted.
