Jaipur. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said that it is because of the Congress party that today the roots of democracy have strengthened in the country and the constitution has been made.
Gehlot was addressing the convention organized on the foundation day of the Congress party at Birla Auditorium here today. He said that Congress has a glorious history and Congress leaders have made many sacrifices in the construction of the country. He said that the contribution and sacrifice of the Congress party will be written in golden letters in the history of the country.
He said that we have inherited the history created by great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Patel, Maulana Azad, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Lala Lajpat Rai. He said that those who know history make history, but the present central government is distorting history. He said that Rahul Gandhi is working to strengthen democracy in the country by taking out Bharat Jodo Yatra against rising inflation and unemployment.
