Ghaziabad, 08 July (Hindustan Times). Armed miscreants raided a scrap factory located in the industrial area under Mussoorie police station on Friday midnight. After taking the watchman hostage, the miscreants looted goods worth Rs 10 lakh from the factory and fled. Police reached the information on Saturday morning and started investigating the matter.

ACP Mussoorie Naresh Kumar told that there is a scrap factory named Anshul in the industrial area. Owner Shamshul Hasan says that scrap smelting is done in this factory. These days the factory is closed, the responsibility of whose security was on Chowkidar Ramnath. He was on duty on Friday night. Meanwhile, three armed miscreants took the watchman hostage and looted goods worth lakhs of rupees from the factory.

According to the owner, there is a possibility of theft of eight to 10 lakh malls from the factory. Presently, the slips are being checked for how much goods have been stolen. The police have registered a case and are looking for the unknown thieves.
