The highly anticipated book The Road Ahead 2.0 – A Seminal Work on AI, co-authored by Prof. T G Sitharam, Chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and Yogi Kochhar, a visionary thought leader, was officially launched today, March 28, 2025, in New Delhi. To commemorate this significant milestone, the Education Promotion Society for India (EPSI) organized a grand Book Release Function, bringing together stalwarts from higher education institutions across the country.
This pioneering book explores the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education, research, and industry, serving as a roadmap for stakeholders navigating the AI revolution. The launch event was honoured by the presence of Prof. D. P. Singh, Former Chairman of UGC & Advisor to the Chief Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh, as the Chief Guest and Chetan Sharma, Addl Advocate General, Govt of India as the guest of honour. Prof. Singh highlighted that the book “The Road Ahead 2.0” stands as a testament to the transformative power of AI—urging educationists to integrate AI across disciplines, inspiring industries to embrace AI-driven innovation, and encouraging academia to reimagine the future of learning.
Addressing educationists, he urged them to integrate AI across disciplines, fostering a multidisciplinary approach that equips students with the skills necessary to navigate an AI-driven world. He stressed that AI should not be confined to technical fields alone but should be seamlessly woven into various domains, including humanities, social sciences, healthcare, and management, to create a holistic learning ecosystem.

Prof. T. G. Sitharam, a stalwart in academia and an influential policymaker, emphasized the importance of AI in reshaping the future of education and research.
