Neerja
Neerja is a 2016 biographical thriller film, directed by Ram Madhwani and written by Savin Quadras and Samyukta Chawla Sheikh. The film stars Sonam Kapoor in the lead roles, while Shekhar Ravjiani, Shabana Azmi, Yogendra Tiku, Kavi Shastri and Jim Sarbh are in supporting roles. It was based on the real -life incident by Libya -backed Abu Nidal Sangathan on 5 September 1986 in Karachi, Pakistan, an attempt to kidnap PAN M Flight 73. The film showed how the flight head Perser, Neerja Bhanot died in an attempt to save the travelers and the crew, out of 379 passengers survived.
Uri: The Surgical Strike
Uri: The Surgical Strike is a war action film, written and directed by debutant Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwwala under the banner of RSVP Movies. The film, based on the actual story of vengeance of the 2016 Uri attack, stars Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari and Mohit Raina in the lead roles.
Mumbai attack 26/11
The Attacks of 26/11 is an action thriller film directed by Ram Gopal Varma, based on Romal Rodrigues’s book Kasab: The Face of 26/11, which is about Ajmal Kasab, the only surviving criminal of the 2008 Mumbai attacks. In the film, Sanjeev Jaiswal has done his first film and Nana Patekar has also played the lead roles.
Mumbai Meri Jaan
Mumbai Meri Jaan is a 2008 -directed film directed by Nishikant Kamat and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. It stars R Madhavan, Irfan Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Paresh Rawal and KK Menon in the lead roles. It is based on incidents after the train bomb blasts in Mumbai on 11 July 2006, in which 209 people lost their lives and more than 700 people were injured.
Hotel Mumbai
Hotel is an independent action thriller film of Mumbai 2018, directed by Anthony Maras and co-written by Maras and John Koli. It is inspired by the 2009 documentary Survival Mumbai about the 2008 Mumbai attacks at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in India. The film stars Dev Patel, Army Hammer, Nazneen Bonadi, Anupam Kher, Tilda Kobam-Harve, Jason Isak, Suhail Nayyar, Nagesh Bhosle and Natasha Liu Bordjo.
black Friday
Black Friday is a 2004 crime film written and directed by Anurag Kashyap. Black Friday: Based on The True Story of the Bombay bomb blasts, a book written by Hussain Zaidi about the 1993 Bombay bomb blasts describes the incidents that exploded and then police investigated. Produced by Mid-Day’s Arindam Mitra, the film starred Pawan Malhotra, KK Menon, Aditya Srivastava, Kishore Kadam and Zakir Hussain.
Bell bottom
Bell is a 2021 action thriller film directed by Bottom Ranjit M Tiwari. The film is written by Aseem Arora and Parvez Sheikh. It stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role, while Vani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi have done the cameo. Bell Bottom is inspired by the real abduction incidents in India by Khalistani terrorists in the 1980s, such as Indian Airlines flights 423, 405 and 421 kidnapping.
Batla House
Batla House is an action thriller film of 2019, written by Ritesh Shah and directed by Nikhil Advani. Inspired by the Batla House encounter case on 19 September 2008, the film stars John Abraham in the lead role. The film shows the encounter and the events after that.
