Talking about work-life balance, he said that work is a very important part of life. My parents also work together to help the family. We have learned this original mantra from them. He further said that he has been working with Jio for 10 years. It is not possible for them to balance work and family. These two are their biggest priorities. Everyone should determine their priorities in life. However, priorities can change with age. But our priorities play an important role in giving meaning to life.
Akash Ambani said that his parents and his entire family are his ideal and inspiration. Even today my father checks all his emails. He works till two o’clock. He has been working for the last 40 years. The way my mother takes care of even small things, she is very inspiring for me. Akash further said that our country, our people and then the company are important for Reliance Jio. We want to have a positive impact on the lives of our country and its citizens through Jio and we are moving forward keeping this goal in mind.
Akash Ambani while addressing the ‘Mumbai Tech Week’ program said that he does not think about the work in terms of time and hours. The quality of work is more important than the working hours. Our influence on country, society and company is important through our work.
It is noteworthy that the leaders of the Indian industry have expressed different views on the working hours in recent times. Some people have advocated working for 90 hours a week and prioritizing the work than the family, while others have spoken in favor of the results for these hours. At the same time, a class is in favor of working less than 50 hours a week.
Talking about Artificial Intelligence (AI), Akash Ambani said that the days went when India was considered a follower of Western countries in terms of technology. Eight years after the launch of Jio, we have become one of the world’s largest data users. India has now become a country that not only adopts technology but also uses it to improve people’s lives. AI is the biggest revolutionary change in technology so far. This can prove to be a development engine for India, which will take the economy beyond a rate of 10 percent.
Ambani further stated that his company has formed a team of more than 1,000 data scientists, researchers and engineers to provide guidance on the artificial intelligence (AI) front. He said that the company is also building a gigawat capacity data center in Jamnagar, which will help in the AI journey of the country. In addition, the company is also considering offering a graphic processing unit (GPU) to benefit wide environment.
