Recently in Delhi, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) raided large e-commerce distributors, in which thousands of poor products were seized. In this operation, the team of BIS seized a large number of products from the warehouse of Amazon Sellers Private Limited located in Mohan Cooperative Industrial Area, Delhi.
Products were being sold without ISI mark
According to the Press Information Bureau (PIB) report, this raid conducted on March 19 seized more than 3,500 products, including geysers, food mixers and other electronic devices. During the investigation, it was revealed that many of these products were either without compulsory ISI mark or were being sold with fake ISI labels. The total estimated price of these products is said to be around 70 lakh rupees.

Bis Care App can be downloaded from Google Play Store and Apple App Store. In this app, you only have to enter the ISI number and after that the information of the product is revealed. If the product details are not visible, it may indicate that the product is fake.
In addition, it is also advised to always buy products with Amazon Fulfilled or Flipkart Assured Tag, as these products are more reliable and certified.
