Bollywood veteran actor Manoj Kumar passed away today. He was 87 years old. Manoj Kumar was known for awakening a spirit of patriotism in Bollywood films. In 1975, when the Indira Gandhi government imposed emergency in the country, Manoj Kumar opposed it. The government was angry with this. The situation was that at that time the government was banning the release of films of actors opposing the Emergency.
