In today’s trading session, the domestic market opened with a decline. The Nifty is below 22500 and the Sensex is at 74,328. The Sensex has declined by 11 points, while the Nifty declined by 13.90 points.

However, midcap and smallcap stocks have seen strength. The BSE Midcap index is trading up 0.01 per cent, while the Nifty Midcap 100 index has recorded a 0.18 per cent gain. The BSE Smallcap index is trading up 0.49 per cent.

Currently, the 30 -share BSE benchmark index Sensex is trading at 74,328.42 with a decline of 11.67 points or 0.02%. While the NSE’s 50 -share index Nifty is trading at 22,558.60 with a decline of 13.90 points, or 0.06 per cent.

Financial services, FMCG, IT, Pharma, PSU banks, private banks, healthcare and oil and gas stocks are seeing a decline of 0.08–0.96 per cent. The bank Nifty is trading at 48,480.45 with a decline of 0.30 per cent. While auto, metal, realty and consumer durables are trading with an increase.

Among the veteran shares, Asian Paints, Divis Labs, Bajaj Finserv, Titan, HDFC Bank, HDFC Life, Britannia and HDFC fell to 0.59–1.35 per cent. Whereas among the legendary shares, Coal India, HCL Tech, Adani Enterprises, Tata Steel, ONGC, JSW Steel and UPL have increased by 0.70–1.35 per cent.

Midcap stocks fell by G Entertainment, Adani Power, PB Fintech, Supreme Industries and M&M Financial to 1.41-5.37 per cent. While CG Power, Emami, Indian Hotels, Godrej Industries and SAIL have climbed 0.89-1.61 percent.

Among Smallcap stocks, IRB Infra, EKI Energy, PC Jewelers, Pitti Engineering and Plastiblands fell by 4.5–7.75 per cent. However, in smallcap stocks, beautiful managers, Nandan denim, Orient Bell, SVP Global and Punjab Chemicals rose by 5.26–7.76 per cent.
