Pahalgam After the terrorist attack in the central government, the central government is continuously taking action against Pakistan. Quick decisions are being taken under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The government gave 48 hours to the Pakistanis living in India to return to their country. Pakistani citizens are still present in India despite the end of the deadline. Keeping in mind the current situation, the Central Government has extended this time limit till further orders.
The central government had given strict orders to Pakistanis to return to their homeland by 30 April. However, the central government has still kept the Attari-Wagah border open for the return of Pakistanis. In the last six days, 786 Pakistani citizens, including 55 diplomats, dependents and assistant employees, have returned to Pakistan through the Attari-Wagah border during the first six days of the government. 1465 Indians have returned home from Pakistan via the international border in Punjab. It consists of 25 diplomats and officers. Indian visa holder 151 Pakistani has also returned to India.
This order was given after the Pahalgam attack.
On 22 April, terrorists opened indiscriminate firing and attacked tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. In which 26 people were killed. After this attack, the central government ordered Pakistani citizens to leave India within three days. In which the visas of medical visa holders were canceled on 29 April. Earlier, all Pakistanis were ordered to leave India by 26 April. While professional, business, film, journalist, conference, mountaineering, students, tourists, group tourism, pilgrim visas were canceled on 27 April.
How many people came to India?
According to officials, till April 29, a total of 469 Indians, including 11 diplomats and officials, have returned from Pakistan. On April 28, 146 Indians, 116 Indians including a diplomat on 27 April, 342 Indians including 13 diplomats and officials on 26 April, 287 Indians on April 25 and 105 Indians returned home on 24 April.
