News India Live, Digital Desk: The first world-class railway station is going to open in up:The Yogi government is constantly taking steps to strengthen railway infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh. Under this effort, Gomti Nagar railway station of Lucknow will soon be ready with world class facilities. The beauty and facilities of this station being built at a cost of about Rs 385 crore will not be less than a 5-star hotel.
After the opening of this station, passengers will get great relief. The railway administration has proposed to start new trains for various states from the Railway Board. These proposals include trains like Pushpak Express for Mumbai, Vande Bharat Train for Bhopal and direct train service for pilgrimage sites like Mata Vaishno Devi (Katra) and Jagannathpuri.
Lucknow MP and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has also tried to fulfill the dream of late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Now this station is going to open with world class facilities and open for passengers. The second phase of the station is almost complete and now finishing work is going on. This station will compete with big stations around the world.
Vande Bharat Express from Gomti Nagar railway station to Bhopal and Patna will operate. Also, special trains will run for Katra and Jagannathpuri, which will provide direct and convenient rail service to the devotees.
Proposals have been sent to the Railway Board to run many more trains. Third and fourth lines will also be built at the station for the operation of high speed trains. By next month, seven Amrit Bharat stations will also be ready, which will further strengthen the railway network.
