Sagar Kadam also told the police that he had also received threats from an unknown number on 21 and 22 February. The police then searched the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the scene and arrested the woman’s cousin involved in the incident. During interrogation, the accused revealed the case.

Yavat police said that the woman had a love affair with a garage owner of Srigonda. The police have also arrested him. Sagar and the woman performed a pre-wedding photoshoot on 21 February. During this time the woman told Sagar that she does not want to marry. I told this to the family, but Sagar refused to do so.
