Ration card e-kyc: Even though the central government has made it mandatory to get ration cards e-KYC, but about 36 percent of the people have not yet completed this work. In view of this, the government has once again extended the deadline to complete the e-KYC to 30 April. This has brought great relief to millions of beneficiaries. Along with this, an ultimatum has also been given to complete the incomplete work of e-KYC soon.

Ration department officials said that this is the fourth and last opportunity, after which the deadline will not be extended. If a beneficiary has not linked his ration card to e-KYC, then his ration card will be canceled and he will be denied the facility of getting government food grains. This aggressive stance of the government is to bring transparency in the ration distribution system and prevent repetition. In addition, the state and district administration have also been instructed to monitor and promote strict monitoring and publicity.
