Mumbai: A crow speaking like humans in Palghar has become the center of attraction. Parrots usually speak, but for the first time, everyone was surprised to hear the crow speaking like a human being. After the video of the crow going viral, people from the villages have started coming to take advantage of this crow’s ‘crow dialect’. The crow lives as a member of the Manglya Mukne family in Gargaon of Wada taluka in Palghar district. And she takes care of the house. Some time ago, when Mangalya Mukan was coming from outside, he saw a 15-20-day crow lying in an injured state under a tree. They brought the child home. He was treated and discharged. Sahu became so fond of him that he made him his family member. Gradually, while staying with the family, the crow learned to speak Marathi. The family named the crow Kalia.
This crow, which is now one and a half years old, when no one comes to the house, as usual, he asks the same question: “Are Uncle Ali here?” (Are uncle come?) When a stranger comes to the house, the crow asks, “What is the work?” He also asks people such questions, “What are you doing?”, “Why are you at home?” Mukane calls all the members of the family by name. For example, if a mother calls her child, the crow also repeats her name.
This crow eats food while sitting with his family, he loves sev and rice. He spends flying outside with other crows throughout the day. But when he returns home in the evening, he says, “Khayala Dya…” (Let me eat) and asks for food.
Mukne said that after the video of the crow went viral, people have started coming from far and wide to see him.
