Bihar flood: Many districts of Bihar are currently facing severe crisis due to floods. People depend on the government for help, but in many places the authorities are not listening to the victims, let alone the public representatives. A similar case has come to light from Valmikinagar, where the officials did not meet JDU MP Sunil Kumar. A video of Sunil Kumar is also going viral on social media. In which MPs are present among the flood victims, but the officials do not listen to them. JDU MPs are seen expressing their displeasure on the phone.

JDU MP while talking to officials on phone is saying, ‘What a joke. You have been calling since morning but you are not picking up. This brings disrepute to the government. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav also posted this video and wrote in the caption, Look at the helplessness of Nitish Kumar’s MP.

Tejashwi Yadav posted on X and wrote, ‘He is JDU MP from Valmikinagar. Look at the helplessness of the poor MP troubled by bureaucracy. In the morning DM-SP but a junior officer is not picking up the phone. Leaders are afraid of defaming the government. But, the officials of Bihar, following the DK-NK model, are not afraid of anyone? CM is not even aware. If the CM is not working even on the feedback of his own party leaders, then what to talk about the opposition.

Former JDU MLA from Belsand, Sitamarhi, Rana Randhir Singh Chauhan also appeared unhappy with the behavior of the officials during the flood. In the video, the former MLA is seen getting angry at the CO (Circle Officer) of Belsand. He alleged that the CO was sleeping comfortably in his house amid the flood disaster.

 

JDU MLAs were also upset with the behavior of the system during the floods and they opened a front against the officials of their own government. JDU MLA from Valmikinagar Rinki Singh alleged, ‘Water Resources Department officials and engineers did not work properly regarding the safety of the embankment. The officials of the department are busy earning money in the name of embankment construction. The system officials were extremely careless and kept extorting crores of rupees.
