Patna / Nalanda, 08 July (HS). Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached Rajgir today to take stock of the preparations for the State Malmas fair starting from July 18 in Rajgir, Bihar. He reached Rajgir by road at one o’clock in the afternoon. The Chief Minister has reached Rajgir for the second time before the commencement of the Malmas fair. Earlier on June 2, he had reached Rajgir.
After reaching Rajgir, the Chief Minister first went to Vaitar. Ghat. Here he inspected the blowing done and the ghats built in the Vaitar. river. After this reached the Brahma Kund complex and closely inspected the works. He also consumed hot water while inspecting the Saptadhara in the Brahmakund complex. The Chief Minister took stock of the whole complex by roaming around. However, he returned to Patna without addressing the media.
It is noteworthy that for the convenience of the devotees, a tent city is being constructed in the State Guest House ground. Ghats at Rajgir have been renovated by blowing up Saraswati river and Vaitarni river. It is believed that 33 crore deities stay in Rajgir for a month. That’s why sages and saints from every corner of the country reach Rajgir to worship at the Shahi Snan and Lakshmi Narayan Temple.
Separate arrangements are also being made for the stay of saints. Pure Gangajal will be made available to the devotees coming to Rajgir for drinking for the first time. For this, arrangements have been made for Gangajal taps at various places. Along with this, concrete arrangements have also been made for the security of the devotees.
