Thane City won the 51st Kumar & Kumari Gut Rajya Ajinkyapad Nivad Chachni Kabaddi Spardha 2024 boys title after defeating Pune Gramin in the final in Sangli on Thursday. Pune Gramin however successfully defended the title in the girls category.

Thane City secured a narrow and historic victory against Pune Gramin in the boys’ final, edging them out 33-32 after years of perseverance. Aftab Mansuri, the standout player from Thane City, was named Player of the Tournament for his exceptional performance.

In the Girls’ final, Pune Gramin scored a commanding 32-24 win over PCMC, showcasing their dominance for the second consecutive year. Vaibhavi Jadav, instrumental in their triumph, was awarded Player of the Tournament. The five-day championship managed by Maharashtra Kabaddi Association celebrated remarkable talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship, leaving fans inspired and eager for future editions of this prestigious event.
