Srinagar: There has been a recent biggest terrorist attack on tourists in Jammu and Kashmir. In Pahalgam, famous for tourists, terrorists asked the names of tourists, asked their religion and then started firing. So far 28 tourists have been killed in this cruel attack. While more than 20 people are injured, some of whom are in critical condition, and the number of dead may increase. The attack was planned and its goal was citizens outside Kashmir from the states of Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra etc. The terrorists started firing on them with modern weapons before the tourists could save their lives. They ran into the forest and left Pahalgam, famous for tourism, soaked in blood.

While other states of the country are facing scorching heat, many tourists are turning to cold tourist destinations in Jammu and Kashmir to get relief. Taking advantage of this, the terrorists attacked a tourist place on a hill in Pahalgam. Tourists were enjoying the calm and cold atmosphere of nature, some people were horse riding and some were having breakfast at local stalls, when suddenly four to five militant guns came from the nearby forest and started firing indiscriminately.

Some tourists who lost their relatives in the attack described the incident with tears in their eyes and also made videos to narrate their objections. This heartbreaking video is going viral on social media, in which these tourists are telling that some of the attackers came to us and started asking us our names, religion etc. After taking information from us, he fired bullets. Manjunath of Shivamogga, Karnataka died in the attack. Manjunath arrived in Pahalgam for a holiday with his wife and son. Manjunath died in the attack, but his wife Pallavi, who survived, told about the incident. He told that we were three people and the attack took place around one and a half in the afternoon. My husband lost his life in front of me, the terrorists were searching for Hindus and were targeting them, I told one of the attacker terrorists that he killed my husband, kill me too, then the terrorist told me that I will not kill you, go to Modi, tell Modi about this attack. The attacker later ran away and some locals came running to help us.

Pahalgam is the most popular tourist destination in the Kashmir Valley, before the largest terrorist attack in Pulwama in 2019, in which 40 CRPF personnel were killed. Terrorists have usually been seen attacking security forces, but recently terrorists have targeted tourists for the first time. This attack has been carried out at a time when preparations for the Amarnath Yatra are going on. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was on a visit to Saudi Arabia at the time of the attack, paid tribute to the dead by posting on social media (Twitter), as well as strongly criticized the attack. He said that I express condolences to all the people who have lost their loved ones, and pray for the injured to recover early. All types of assistance will be provided to the affected people. Those responsible for the attacks will not be spared, their demonic agenda will never succeed.

There are reports that Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Home Minister Amit Shah over the phone and asked him to leave for Jammu and Kashmir immediately, after which Home Minister Amit Shah reached Srinagar and held an emergency high-level meeting with NIA, state police chief and Lieutenant Governor etc. After this attack, the army and police are currently being jointly campaigned jointly by the army and police to search for terrorists. The search for terrorists is going on with the help of helicopters, drones etc. Tourists killed in this attack include two foreign tourists from outside India. One of them is Italian and an Israeli citizen.
