Raipur: Chhattisgarh Congress has lashed out at Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state over initiation of procedure of termination of around 3,000 B.Ed.-trained assistant government teachers in the state.

Chairman of Communication Department of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) Sushil Anand Shukla made scathing attack on the ruling government terming the move insensitive and said that the Congress party condemns the terminations of around 3,000 B.Ed trained assistant teachers in strong words.

Sai government is an ill-willed government and Congress demands from the government to reinstate the teachers as quickly as possible. Ever since the BJP government in the state came to power, jobs are being snatched from the youths, he alleged. The rights of the youth are being snatched by the BJP government in the state.

The B.Ed. trained assistant teachers were allegedly beaten and misbehaved during a protest at the BJP’s party office in the state capital today, Shukla blamed.

Notably, after the Court’s order, the assistant teachers are being terminated. Meanwhile, over 80,000 posts for teachers are still vacant in the Education Department. These terminated teachers should be adjusted in the Education Department accordingly, he added.
