The Mega Blood Donation Drive is a massive initiative aimed at promoting voluntary blood donation and addressing the shortage of blood units in India. Under the guidance of ABTYP Organisation, Terapanth Yuvak Parishad South Mumbai recently organised 5 Blood Donation Camps in South Mumbai at multiple venues as a part of ‘Mega Blood Donation Drive’ in December 2024. Blood Donation Camps were held at Saifee Hospital, Churchgate Station, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Station, Dagina Bazaar and Navjeevan Co-Op Housing Society, Mumbai Central. These Blood Camps were carried out successfully with the assistance of multiple blood banks by Saifee Hospital Blood Bank, Supritendant G. T. Hospital Blood Bank, Sir B. L. Nair Hospital Blood Bank and Sir H. N. Reliance Hospital Blood Bank. Terapanth Yuvak Parishad along with the help of Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi Sabha, Terapanth Mahila Mandal, Terapanth Kishore Mandal, students of NSS unit of Mumbai University including multiple colleges, and other various social & business associations successfully collected a total of 390 units of Blood. These camps were attended by various dignitaries & several prominent members of various communities & associations of South Mumbai. All Blood Donation Camps were conducted under the leadership of TYP South Mumbai President Girish Sisodiya, Secretary Shreyans Munot, Treasurer Pankaj Boliya and Convenors Darshan Daglia & Dipesh Borana, they were in constant touch with multiple Blood Banks to carry out smooth operation of Blood Donation Camps. Terapanth Yuvak Parishad South Mumbai is also engaged in various other social works such as spreading awareness about cancer & eye donation. It extends its gratitude towards all the blood donors, Doctors & volunteers for their support and wishes them a bright future.
