Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A man, who had come to temple to offer prayers, stabbed a temple employee after he asked him not to walk on a mopped floor on Sunday.
Tilak Nagar police station in-charge Manish Lodha said that one Raju Raikwar, a resident of Scheme No. 140, lodged a complaint stating that the floor of the temple was wet due to mopping, so he asked Ravi Bhuria to let the floor dry and then come inside.
Angered by this, Ravi started abusing him, and when he objected, the accused took out a knife from his pocket and stabbed him on his wrist, due to which blood started oozing. The temple priest and a devotee intervened and rescued him. While leaving, the accused threatened him with dire consequences. The police registered a case against the accused under sections 118(1), 296, 351(3) of the BNS.
Man stabbed for refusing to fetch water
Four persons stabbed a man after he refused to fetch water at a wine shop in Gandhi Nagar police station area. The police arrested the main accused after registering a case for attempted murder.
Additional DCP Alok Kumar Sharma said that Rahul Muwel lodged a complaint stating that he was sitting at a wine shop in Dilip Nagar on Sunday evening with his brother Anand and four others – Yash, Harsh, Sanjay and Ajay. They asked Anand to fetch water, and when he refused, an argument broke out between them. Yash took out a knife and stabbed Anand in the abdomen.
