Raipur: Even before Holi, the heat has intensified in Chhattisgarh, with temperatures rising by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours. Due to the influence of a western cyclone and atmospheric disturbances, the state is experiencing increased heat, making afternoons particularly harsh.
Several districts are already witnessing a sharp rise in temperature. Sarangarh recorded a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, while Raipur and Bilaspur reached 39 degrees.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain dry, and the heat may continue to rise in the coming days.
