Telangana government refuses to take funds from Ad. Group: Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has demanded a strict investigation on the allegation of bribe of Rs 2200 crore leveled against Ad. Congress-ruled Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said, “The state government has allocated Rs. Donation of Rs 100 crore will not be accepted. There is no pressure on us to decline donations. Keeping in mind the allegations against the group, we have taken this decision in the interest of the state.
Decision taken to keep the state away from controversies
The state government has imposed a fine of Rs 50 crore on Ad. Group. This decision has been taken to stay away from controversies after allegations of bribery of Rs 2200 crore. Rahul Gandhi also wanted to arrest Gautam Ad. immediately. It also clearly directed its ruling states that, ‘State and Central Government should issue transparent invitations for tenders.
