He has demanded arrest from Mumbai Police by registering an FIR against Anurag. Tejinder Bagga, posting on the social media platform X (East Twitter), described Anurag as “mentally unstable” and appealed to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to take strict action in the matter.

Controversial statement of film ‘Phule’ and Anurag

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was recently angry with the censor board’s instructions to remove some scenes from his upcoming film ‘Phule’. In this connection, he shared a post on social media, on which a user commented – “Brahmin is your father”. In response, Anurag wrote – “I will urinate on Brahmin, any problem?”

After this statement, there was a huge uproar on social media. Many Brahmin organizations and users expressed displeasure and demanded legal action.

Anurag apologizes after the controversy escalated

After increasing the ruckus, Anurag Kashyap wrote in another post while clarifying – “If you are angry then take out on me, do not drag my family in it.”
He also told that his family is receiving threats to rape and kill. Anurag said that his intention was not to hurt anyone’s feelings, but he apologizes for what happened.

Tejinder Bagga denied Anurag Kashyap’s forgiveness and called him a threat to the society and said that such a person should be punished under the law. He tagged the Mumbai Police and Fadnavis and demanded immediate arrest.
