With just a few days left until the finale of the cooking-based reality show Celebrity MasterChef India, Tejasswi Prakash and Gaurav Khanna have secured their spots as the first two finalists after winning an international street food challenge and earning golden coins. Meanwhile, Nikki Tamboli, Rajiv Adatia, Archana Gautam, and Faisal Shaikh, aka Mr. Faisu, will compete in the Black Apron Challenge in the upcoming episode to secure their place in the finale.
In the latest episode, the six contestants were divided into pairs for the challenge. Gaurav and Tejasswi teamed up to prepare an Indonesian dish, while Nikki and Faisal were assigned a Dutch dish. Archana and Rajiv took on the challenge of making British cuisine. In the end, Tejasswi and Gaurav, as well as Archana and Rajiv, both scored 26 points, while Faisal and Nikki secured 27 points. However, the competition took an interesting turn when the judges, Farah Khan, Vikas Khanna, and Ranveer Brar, brought out their golden coins, each worth 10 points.
Vikas voted for Tejasswi and Gaurav, while Farah supported Rajiv and Archana. Ranveer, acting as the tie-breaker, voted for Tejasswi and Gaurav, ultimately making them the winning pair.
Netizens couldn’t keep calm as Tejasswi and Gaurav were announced as the first finalists, with many expressing that they truly deserved the win. Fans on social media praised the duo’s performance and celebrated their victory.

Meanwhile, the latest episode of Celebrity MasterChef India witnessed the surprise visit of Khanna’s wife Akanksha Chamola. She playfully shared that with Tamboli around Gaurav, he wouldn’t be missing her too much, leaving everyone in splits.
“Nahi mujhe lagta hai Nikki ke hote hue Gaurav mujhe miss nahi kar raha hoga. Nikki is doing my part. I actually want to tell you… woh jitna usse sata rahi hai…I love you,” she said.
