Team India announced for Champions Trophy 2025 and ODI series against England, Shami returns

India Champions Trophy Squad Live: The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled to begin on February 19. A total of 8 teams will participate in this tournament in which the teams of India and host Pakistan have not been announced yet. In which Team India has been announced today. The chief selector along with captain Rohit Sharma announced the names of the players in a press conference at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Mohammed Shami has finally returned to Team India. He was out of the team due to injury for a long time. However, Bumrah was injured at the moment. His back was injured. However, Bumrah has been included in the team again.

Gill has a big responsibility

Shubman Gill has been declared the vice-captain for the Champions Trophy. However, Mohammad Siraj has been dropped from the team. Injured Bumrah has been given a place in the team. This time the Champions Trophy will be played in Pakistan and Dubai under the hybrid model. The first match of the tournament will be played on February 19 between hosts Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi.
