Palghar: In a tragic incident, a teacher collapsed and passed away from a heart attack while delivering a speech at a farewell ceremony for 10th-grade students at Lal Bahadur Shastri High School in Manor, Palghar. The deceased teacher, Sanjay Lohar, aged 47, was offering guidance to the students when he suddenly collapsed on stage.
The farewell ceremony, held in the school’s hall, was an emotional occasion for the graduating students. As part of the event, teachers were addressing the students, offering advice and best wishes for their future. Lohar, who was also a part of this ceremony, was speaking to the students when, without warning, he suddenly collapsed on the podium.
Emergency medical assistance was immediately sought, and Lohar was rushed to a nearby hospital. However, despite efforts to save him, medical personnel declared him dead upon arrival. The incident occurred around 13:00 hours on February 4. Doctors believe that the cause of death was a heart attack.
The unexpected passing of Mr. Lohar, while addressing the students during such a significant moment, has left everyone in shock. The students, faculty, and community have expressed deep sorrow, mourning the loss of a teacher who had dedicated himself to guiding and shaping the future of his students.
