Navi Mumbai: Responding to a direct request from the Taloja Traffic Police and Navi Mumbai Police Commissionerate, the Taloja Industries Association (TIA) mobilized its member industries to contribute towards much-needed safety gear for police personnel through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funding.

“The police had approached TIA seeking assistance to procure helmets and PR (Police Rain) covers for their team members, essential for ensuring safety during their daily duties on busy and often hazardous roads. Acknowledging the urgency and importance of this appeal, TIA issued a call to its member industries, encouraging contributions under CSR initiatives, with the added incentive of income tax exemption on donations made via TIA,” said the president Satish shetty.

Tatsuno India Pvt. Ltd. (Plot No. B-31 & B-32, Taloja MIDC) was the first to step forward, generously donating CSR funds for 150 helmets and 240 PR covers. The gear was officially distributed to the Taloja Traffic Police at a ceremony held on April 10, 2025, at 4:00 PM

TIA expressed its appreciation for Tatsuno India’s swift and impactful response. “The Taloja Police approached us with a clear and pressing need. We’re proud that our member industries like Tatsuno India stepped in to ensure our traffic police are better protected while on duty. This is a model example of how CSR can directly serve the community,” said shetty.
