Tata Motors reported total sales of 2,35,599 vehicles in both domestic and international markets during the third quarter of FY 2024-25. This marks a slight increase compared to the 2,34,981 units sold in the same period of the previous fiscal year. The steady growth reflects the company’s continued demand across key segments and markets.

Tata Motors recorded domestic sales of 76,599 vehicles in December 2024, reflecting a marginal 1% growth compared to 76,138 units sold in December 2023. For the third quarter of FY 2024-25, the company’s domestic sales reached 2,30,684 units, remaining nearly flat compared to 2,29,610 units in the same period last year. This stable performance underscores Tata Motors’ consistent presence in the domestic market.

Tata Motors reported domestic sales of Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (MH&ICV) at 15,968 units in December 2024, slightly lower than the 16,851 units sold in December 2023. In the third quarter of FY25, domestic MH&ICV sales totaled 44,023 units, compared to 44,365 units during the same period last year. Including international sales, the MH&ICV segment recorded 16,604 units in December 2024, down from 17,591 units in December 2023. For Q3 FY25, combined domestic and international MH&ICV sales stood at 46,108 units, showing a slight decline from 46,534 units in Q3 FY24.

Tata Motors reported domestic passenger vehicle (PV) sales, including EVs, at 44,230 units in December 2024, reflecting a 2% growth compared to 43,470 units in December 2023. Total PV sales, including domestic and international business, stood at 44,289 units for December 2024, a 1% rise over the 43,675 units sold during the same month last year. In Q3 FY25, total PV sales reached 1,39,829 units, up 1% from 1,38,455 units in Q3 FY24. Electric vehicle (EV) sales, encompassing domestic and international markets, grew 11% year-on-year in December, totaling 5,562 units, and recorded a 6% increase for the quarter at 16,119 units. These figures include contributions from Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited, both subsidiaries of Tata Motors.
