US President Donald Trump’s tariff war is tension in the world. It has a profound impact on business. Some Chinese companies have been so badly affected by the American tariffs that now they have to contact Indian exporters to fulfill their orders on time and to supply goods to their American customers on time. Chinese companies are contacting Indian companies at Canton Fair.
Pressure to supply goods to American customers
Several Indian companies have contacted several Indian companies at the ongoing Canton Fair in Guangzhou till 5 May. So that they can supply goods to their American customers. Canton Fair is the world’s largest trade fair. Ajay Sahai, Director General of the federation of Indian export organizations, said in an interview that Indian companies will pay commission to Chinese companies in exchange for selling goods at the trade fair.
Indian exporters can get more orders
145 percent tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump have affected Chinese imports in the US. Conversely, goods sent from India to America currently levy 10 percent tax. Which will be increased to 26 percent in July. Because Trump’s 90-day ban on mutual tariffs ends in July. During Trump’s first term, several Chinese exporters who targeted tariffs turned to South-East Asian countries. Under this, factories were made in Vietnam or goods were sent to countries like Thailand and then goods were exported to America. But now Indian exporters are expected to get more orders after imposing 46 percent tariffs on countries like Vietnam.
