Beijing: The spark is bursting in a tariff war between the US and China. Chinese President Xi Jinping seems to have gone mad. He has openly threatened other countries, saying, ‘If any country makes an agreement on tariff with Trump which is against China’s interests, the results will be terrible.’ China will not accept any such agreement and retaliate.

This threat from China has come at a time when the Trump administration has pressurized many countries to limit trade with China if they want tariff relief.

President Trump has imposed 10% tariff on all countries. While 245 percent tariffs have been imposed on Chinese goods. In response, China has imposed a tariff of up to 125 percent on American goods. This US policy is threatening world trade and the possibility of recession is increasing.

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce on Monday issued a statement saying that any country which would make big deals with the US without considering the interests of China, will be harmful for both sides.

Beijing has accused the US of imposing tariffs in retaliation. They talk of threatening in the name of conversation. But China is fully capable of protecting its rights and is ready to fight this war to the end.

During this tariff war, China canceled the deal to buy aircraft from Boeing at the last moment.

In this situation also, President Trump said that talks are going on between the US and China regarding the tariff. He told reporters at the White House, “Yes!” We are interacting with China, I think we will be able to reach a very useful agreement with China.

But there is no confirmation about these dialogues from China yet. In contrast, Beijing has described the US policies as unilateral and conservationist and warned that it will push the world towards the jungle law.
