News India Live, Digital Desk: Tamil Actor Wedding: Actor Hanswirdhan, who has acted in several films including Punnagai Desam, ‘Junior Senior’, ‘Mantiran’ and ‘Piragu’, has married his girlfriend, Kerala -based model Nimisha in Puducherry. Sources close to the actor claimed that it was a love marriage and was married according to both Hindu and Christian customs. A grand wedding reception was held on 18 May at Nimisha’s hometown Wayanad. Sources said that the marriage took place with blessings and best wishes of both families, relatives and friends. Interestingly, the actor has also announced that he has changed his name from Hansavidhan to Leo Hansavidhan. After marrying actor Leo Hansavirdhan, sources say that Nimisha will now be known as Nimisha Leo Hansavirdhan.
This is Hansavirdhan’s second marriage. Significantly, Hansavirdhan first married his co-star Shanti Hansavirdhan in Vadagupatti Mapillai. Shanti was also known as Reshma. Sadly, Shanti Hansavirdhan died in 2021 after being infected with the Corona virus. Four years after his death, the actor has recovered from this grief and has now started the next chapter of his life.
Although the actor has acted in a few films, but he is most known for his performance in the director of Shah Jahan in Punnagai Desam, in which he played the lead roles with Tarun, Kunal, Sneha, Dhamu and Preeta Vijayakumar. The film was cinematography by R Madhi and edited by V Jaishankar. It was released in Tamil on 14 January 2002 and in 2007 it was remade in Telugu under the Nav Vasantam title by Shah Jahan.
