Actors Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma have parted ways after dating for over two years, media reports have stated. It is also said that they will continue to remain good friends. Now, a new media report has revealed the reason behind their alleged breakup.
According to a recent report by Siasat Daily, the rift between Tamannaah and Vijay began when the actress started feeling the pressure to get married and settle down.
Reportedly, the actress, who is 35 years old, was eager to get married and was growing increasingly impatient. The news portal suggested that this desire became a “point of contention” between the two actors, leading to several “frequent disagreements” and this is why they decided to part ways.
While the two never shied away from acknowledging their relationship in public, and were often seen indulging in PDA, they have not commented on the breakup reports yet.
Earlier this week, a Pinkvilla report stated that Vijay and Tamannaah decided to call it quits a couple of weeks back and they have decided to continue being friends. “Both have been working hard in their respective schedules,” the portal quoted a source.
Tamannaah and Vijay’s wedding rumours
In December 2024, multiple reports suggested that Vijay and Tamannaah were house-hunting in Mumbai, with plans to move in together and get married in 2025. Their frequent visits to fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s residence added fuel to the wedding rumours.
Reports of Tamannaah and Vijay dating first started doing the rounds in 2023 during the shoot of their show Lust Stories 2. Their sizzling chemistry and steamy scenes were splashed all over the internet, and the actress had revealed that Vijay was her first on-screen kiss.
Video of them kissing during a New Year party had also gone viral on social media platforms.
