Maharashtra Elections: Now only a few days are left for Maharashtra Assembly elections. Even before the elections, BJP leader and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has claimed the victory of Mahayuti. Nitin Gadkari said, we are working hard and I believe that the way the central government has worked in Maharashtra in the last 10 years and the work the government has done under the leadership of Shinde ji, we are getting results. Will definitely give success and we will win the elections.

Gadkari said that Mahayuti’s clear victory is visible in Maharashtra. The schemes of Maharashtra Government and Central Government have had a positive impact. On 23rd we will get a clear majority on the basis of our strength.
What did you say on the question of Gujarati and Maratha?

On the question of Gujarati versus Marathi, Gadkari said that the media creates such issues. Asking creates controversy. If any leader says this then he should be left behind. What are the election promises, what are the performance issues that should be discussed? Everything else on this topic is not relevant. He said that one will get the benefit of Ladli Behan Yojana. There is a wave of happiness among women regarding this and I think this scheme will be very beneficial. Gadkari has also refrained from reacting to Owaisi’s statements.

What was said on ‘Batenge to Katenge’?

On CM Yogi’s statement ‘If we divide we will divide’, Gadkari said that in my opinion we should not be divided on the basis of caste, religion, language and gender. We must remain united. We are Indians and we should remain united and this is his message. He said that we have made alliance with different parties. And let us speak with one voice as one party. Every party has different estimates.

Overall, together we will win the Grand Alliance elections in Maharashtra. If our coalition partners had agreed on every point, we would have been one party. The performance of our coalition government is the subject of elections and the work done by Modiji’s government and Maharashtra government will yield good results. We will win the elections. The issue of election will be the performance and work of the government and we will win the election on that, not fanatical Hindutva. Development issues are being discussed.

What is your relation with Uddhav?

Regarding his relationship with Uddhav Thackeray, Gadkari said that I have the best relationship. We are not each other’s enemies in politics. We may have differences but we are not enemies. We may certainly be at odds with each other on the basis of ideas. When asked about Uddhav Thackeray’s oath and appeal to BJP workers to come together, Gadkari said that every party appeals to everyone in elections. I am also asking Congress voters to vote for me.
