Sworn Brother Reaches Indore, Performs Final Rites Of Bhawna After Autopsy | FP Photo

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Police were still clueless about the killer/killers of Bhawna Singh, who died after receiving a bullet near her eyebrow during a party in the wee hours of Friday. After watching the news, Pankaj Thakur who considered the deceased as his sister, who is a trader and NGO director in Gwalior, reached the city. Thakur was handed over the body after the autopsy.

In this case, the prime suspect Ashu Yadav is being searched by the police. Lasudia police station in charge Taresh Kumar Soni informed Free Press that Ashu hails from Datia so a team was sent there. However, he was not found at his place.

The team was searching for him at various places there. The statements of Pankaj Thakur were recorded and the body was handed over to him after the autopsy examination and he and his friends conducted the last rites in the city on Saturday.

Moreover, the girl who was seen with Ashu in the CCTV, was identified as Swasti, a resident of Datia. She was in contact with Ashu and others. Police believe that Swasti had contacted Bhawna and invited her to the party of her friends.  

Parents killed in road accident 10 years ago

Pankaj Thakur informed media persons that he watched the news of Bhawna’s death and reached the city. He further said that Bhawna’s parents were killed in a road accident 10 years ago. After that she was living with her grandmother in Gwalior.

Later, she got married to a person against her family member’s wishes. After a few months of her marriage, she started living separated from her husband due to a dispute between them. Since then, her grandmother didn’t allow her to stay with the family members so Bhawna was staying alone there.

She had celebrated Holi in Gwalior and came Indore to do a course of makeup artist from an institution here. Bhawna was not financially strong so her sworn brother helped her financially.      

Bhawna met Thakur five years ago

Bhawna used to run a cloud kitchen in Gwalior for her survival. Meanwhile, she met Thakur at his NGO and showed interest to work with the NGO five years ago.

Since then, she was in contact with Thakur and was treated as a sister. Thakur is unaware about Ashu or other people whom she met in the city. Police said that the phone numbers of suspects were still switched off so the officials were unable to find their locations.
