Surya took a break
Suryakumar Yadav has taken a break of two weeks for a family function. Mumbai Cricket Association was already informed that Mumbai would not be able to play in the initial matches. Now he will return from Mumbai’s Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match against Andhra on 3 December. There is very little hope of Surya taking over the captaincy in this match and Shreyas Iyer will be the captain. Surya wants to play in every format for Mumbai. After the remaining matches of Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he will also take part in Vijay Hazare Trophy starting from December 21.
Played all three formats for India
Suryakumar Yadav has played international cricket in all three formats for the Indian team. He has scored 773 runs in 37 ODI matches and 2570 runs in 78 T20 International matches for India. He has also played a test match for the team. He has four centuries to his name in all three formats.
