News India Live, Digital Desk: The dispute is deepening after former Punjab Chief Minister and Congress MP Charanjit Singh Channi sought evidence of surgical strike from the central government. Channi had said in his statement that he has not yet received clear information about where and how the surgical strike took place. He said, “I have not come to know till date where the surgical strike took place, how many people were killed and in which areas this action took place in Pakistan.”
After this statement, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini criticized Channi and said that “he is not speaking his language, but someone else’s language. It is very unfortunate that he doesn’t even see such a big attack. Do he not even remember the Uri attack?”
On the other hand, BJP national spokesperson Shahzad Poonawala has accused the party of being “Pakistan -defeated”, surrounding the Congress on this issue. In his video message, Poonawala said, “Congress has now become a Pakistan party (PPP). Congress leader Siddaramaiah has said earlier that no action should be taken on Pakistan. Rahul Gandhi has already sought evidence of surgical strikes. Congress leaders are constantly trying to demolish the morale of our armed forces by making statements in favor of Pakistan.”
He further said, “When the whole country is standing with the army to face terrorism, the Congress party is falling on the morale of the army by creating confusion against the terrorists.”
At the same time, Charanjit Singh Channi has also demanded through his statement that the government should hold the culprits of the Pahalgam terror attack as soon as possible and ensure punishment so that the wounds of the victim families can be healing.
