Pune: Supriya Sule Urges Ashwini Vaishnaw To Restore Train Halts At Daund, Bhigwan, Neera Stations | X/@supriya_sule
NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) Working President Supriya Sule took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday to urge Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to restore train halts at Daund, Bhigwan and Neera stations. These railway stations fall under Sule’s Baramati Lok Sabha constituency in Pune district.
“Post-pandemic, express train halts at stations like Daund, Bhigwan and Neera in the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency remain closed, causing significant inconvenience to daily commuters, students and businesses,” Sule wrote.
“Despite persistent citizen appeals, the issue remains unresolved. Urging Railway Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw to address this pressing demand and restore halts on this route,” she added.
‘Moral responsibility to resign’
Meanwhile, Sule has hit out at Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Dhananjay Munde over not resigning on moral grounds following allegations of his links with the accused in the sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh murder case.
“It is the moral responsibility to resign from the post but the concerned political party and government should decide on it. In the past, during the Congress-led state government under Sharad Pawar, few ministers had resigned after facing allegations of corruption. Then chief minister Ashok Chavan too had resigned after facing allegations,” Sule said.
‘Pawar family is as united as it has been’
Regarding her aunt Asha Pawar’s statement that Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar should come together, the Baramati MP said she does not want to say anything as she does not mix her professional life with her personal life. “The Pawar family is as united as it has been. My relationship with my aunt has not changed,” she said.
