The petition of Madhya Pradesh government minister Vijay Shah, who made a disputed statement about Colonel Sophia, was heard in the Supreme Court on Monday. During this, Shah apologized for his statement, but the court said, “Whatever you have done, you have done without thinking and now you are apologizing.” We have reprimanded them and said that we do not want your forgiveness. Actually, he has challenged the High Court order in the Supreme Court. A two -member bench of Justice Suryakant is hearing the case. Senior advocate Maninder Singh was present in the Supreme Court on behalf of Vijay Shah.

Meanwhile, the court has directed the formation of SIT to investigate the FIR. The SIT should include three senior IPS officers who are directly recruited from Madhya Pradesh cadre, but not from Madhya Pradesh. 1 out of these 3 women should be IPS officers. DGP, Madhya Pradesh has been instructed to set up an SIT by 10 pm last night. It should be led by Inspector General of Police (IGP) and both members should be the post of Superintendent of Police (SP) or above.
The court said that the investigation of the FIR would be submitted to the SIT. The petitioner has been directed to join the investigation and fully cooperate. Shah’s arrest will be banned. The court said that although according to the law established, we will not directly monitor the investigation, but in view of specific facts we are instructing the SIT to submit the results of our investigation through the status report. The case was listed on 28 May.

Senior advocate Maninder Singh argued that Vijay Shah is apologizing. On this, Justice Suryakant said, “Where is your apology?” What kind of apology do you want in view of the nature of this matter? The Supreme Court said that whatever you did, without thinking and now apologizing. We do not want you to apologize. Now we will take action against it according to the law. If you apologize again, we will consider it as contempt of court. You are the representative of the public. You are a politician and what do you say? It is all in the video and where are you going to stop. You should be sensitive and understand your responsibility. This is very irresponsible. The court has said that we are proud of our army.

The Supreme Court said that you have hurt people and still you do not agree. There are leaders in such a big democracy. There is scope for good conduct among our leaders. We can not accept your apology. On which date did you give this unfortunate statement? The whole country is angry with your statement. You showed it to people. Did you watch your video?
Who appeared on behalf of the state government? The state government filed an FIR after the High Court intervention, what were you doing before? The Supreme Court asked the state government counsel what you have done so far? People believe that the state government should be fair. This is an educational matter and an FIR has been registered in this regard. The court also severely criticized the state government and said that it should have taken steps on its own.
