Bollywood actor Sunny Deol was seen interacting with former Team India skipper MS Dhoni during the high-stakes India vs Pakistan Champions Trophy match. While the match took place in Dubai, the duo was seen watching the match at a studio in Mumbai.

In a video, Deol can be seen entering the studio and greeting Dhoni with a warm hug. The two exchanged pleasantries and were then seen analysing the match as Indian bowlers attacked the Pakistani batters with their lethal bowling.

As soon as their video was shown to fans, Navjot Singh Siddhu, who was in the Hindi commentary box, quipped, “Gadar macha denge,” referring to Deol’s cult film Gadar, in which he travels all the way to Pakistan and fights the country single-handedly for the love of his life and for his country.

Deol will reportedly promote his upcoming film Jaat during the match. The film is slated to hit the silver screens on April 10, 2025, and it also stars Randeep Hooda, Regina Cassandra, Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, Zarina Wahab, and Ayesha Khan, among others.

Several celebs also flocked to the Dubai stadium on Sunday to witness the clash between India and Pakistan live. Sonam Kapoor was seen enjoying the match accompanied by husband Anand Ahuja. Not just them, but south superstar Chiranjeevi was also spotted at the stadium watch the match solo. The actor looked stressed as Pakistani batters hit Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav for boundaries, but he was finally relieved when Axar Patel sent Mohammed Rizwan walking back to the pavilion.

Varun Dhawan enjoyed the game in the comfort of his home with his daughter Lara nestled in his arms.
