IMD warns heat
IMD has warned Lu that from March to May, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and North Karnataka will have more heat than normal. Except for some southern parts of peninsular India in March, most parts of the country are expected to have a monthly temperature above normal. The maximum temperature in the southern peninsular region is likely to be below normal.
