Earlier, the soldiers killed 30 Naxalites in Bijapur and Kanker. There was a reward of crores of rupees on the slain Naxalites. At the same time, a young man also became martyred.
Possibility of killing top Naxalite leader
There are reports that a top Naxalite leader has been killed in Sukma encounter. It is being told that DVCM Jagdish has been killed in the encounter. Security forces have recovered huge quantities of explosives and weapons from the slain Naxalites. The soldiers have also seized automatic weapons like INSAS, SLR from the scene. Earlier on March 25, three Naxalites were killed by security forces. It also includes a prize of Rs 25 lakh Naxalite Sudhir alias Sudhakar. Explosives were recovered from the slain Naxalites.
