Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Chhattisgarh on 4 and 5 April. On April 4, Amit Shah will visit the advance post in Dantewada and inspect the Naxal -free campaign. On April 5, the Home Minister will also review the campaigns being run to completely eliminate Naxalism in Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister of Naxalism affected states will hold a meeting with top police officers, paramilitary forces and officials engaged in eradication of Naxalism.

 

Action against Naxalism intensified

Home Minister Amit Shah has intensified action against Naxalism. According to sources, he will visit Chhattisgarh on April 4 and 5 to review the ongoing campaigns against Naxalism. During this time he will hold a meeting with Chief Ministers of Naxalism affected states, top police officers of affected states, paramilitary forces and officials engaged in eradication of Naxalism. Home Minister Amit Shah has set a deadline till 31 March 2026 for complete elimination of Naxalism from the country, which will be reviewed.

16 Naxalites killed in Sukma

On March 28, on the information of the presence of Naxalites in Sukma, Chhattisgarh, the joint police team of DRG and CRPF left for the anti -Naxal search operation. During this campaign, there was an encounter between security forces and Naxalites on Saturday morning. In this encounter, 16 Naxalites have been killed by security forces. Amit Shah posted about the campaign against Naxalites in Sukma on his social media handle. He said, “One more shock to Naxalism!” Our security agencies have killed 16 Naxalites in a campaign in Sukma and seized huge amounts of automatic weapons. Amit Shah further said that under the leadership of PM Modi, we are committed to ending Naxalism before 31 March 2026. At the same time, he appealed to the weapons and said that weapons and violence cannot change; Only peace and development can bring changes.

When will India be Naxal -free?

After an encounter with Naxalites on March 20 in Chhattisgarh, the country’s Home Minister Amit Shah called it a Naxal -free India campaign. He wrote on X, “Today our soldiers have achieved another major success towards the Naxal -free India campaign.” 22 Naxalites have been killed in two separate campaigns by our security forces in Bijapur and Kanker in Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, the Home Minister said that the country will be Naxal -free before 31 March next year.

Presently, Home Minister Amit Shah has taken a tough stand against Naxalism in India. For this reason, a search operation is being conducted in Chhattisgarh for the elimination of Naxalites. Before Sukma, on March 20, the joint police team faced Naxalites. Security forces got great success in this encounter. Security forces killed 30 Naxalites in an encounter on the Bijapur-Dantewada border.
