Resham Kaur, wife of Sufi singer and former BJP MP Hansraj Hans, has passed away. He breathed his last at Tagore Hospital in Jalandhar this afternoon after prolonged illness. She was the fiance of Bollywood singer Daler Mehndi. Daler Mehndi’s daughter Ajit Kaur is married to Navraj Hans, son of Resham Kaur.
There is a wave of mourning in the family due to the death of Resham Kaur. Hansraj Hans’s relatives are reaching his home to express condolences. Other preparations have started including installing tents indoors. About 16 days before today, Hansraj Hans’s birth anniversary was on 18 April.
According to the information, Hansraj Hans’s wife Resham Kaur was suffering from heart disease for a long time. He was admitted to Tagore Hospital in Jalandhar for some time. Recently he was found to be stroke due to illness. Even after this, there was no significant difference in them. Today he said goodbye to this world.
Resham Kaur’s brother Paramjit Singh said that Resham died at around two o’clock this afternoon. He was hospitalized for the last five days. Earlier, he was completely healthy. He had no health problem, but a few days ago he suddenly suffered a heart attack for the first time.
Due to this, he was admitted to the hospital. There the doctors were taking good care of him. Paramjit Singh said that his last rites will be performed at 11 am on Thursday in Shafipur, the ancestral village of Hansraj Hans.
