Mumbai – Subodh Patil, a resident of Navi Mumbai, who was injured in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, has returned to his home after treatment and has warmly welcomed him by his neighbors and locals. 60 -year -old Subodh Patil said on Friday that the horsemen had first helped him after the terrorists were injured by bullets.

After treatment at the Army Hospital in Pahalgam, Patil along with his wife arrived at the Royal Heights apartment in Komothe area of ​​Navi Mumbai on Thursday night.

The couple was welcomed by their relatives, neighbors and locals. The police officer said that Patil and his wife were part of a group of 39 tourists. On 22 April, terrorists fired indiscriminately on tourists at Basaron near Deegalam in Anantnag district of South Kashmir. It killed 26 people including six tourists from Maharashtra. We reached Pahalgam at 12.30 pm. We went riding on a horse. A photographer came to us and asked if we want to take a picture in a Kashmiri dress, and we agreed. Within three or four minutes we heard the sound of bullets. When we looked back, people were running to save their lives. That is why we also ran away. Subodh Patil said so.

There was no way to get out due to wire fence. Some people were sitting, some were sleeping, we were also sitting there. Suddenly a terrorist came to us and said, “Who is Hindus?” Stand on one side. Everyone was scared. Some of them pleaded with the terrorists to spare their lives, but to no avail. Anyone who tried to protest was immediately shot. Patil told how the attack took place.

Subodh Patil started crying bitterly and said, “We were also scared, but we were survived by the grace of Sadhguru, the bullet hit my neck and I fainted. Talking to reporters, Patil became emotional remembering the incident and thanked the horsemen who helped the injured after the attack.

I fainted after being shot in the neck. When I came to my senses, I saw the corpses lying around me. Seeing me walking, a group of horsemen came and gave me water. The doctor we appointed, he said, “Don’t worry about my wife, she is safe.” Another person helped me stand up, took me out of the premises, and gave me a cot to sit. After some time he brought a vehicle and took me to the Indian Army Medical Center. Subodh Patil said, “From there I was taken by helicopter to a military hospital.”
