The staff of a private hospital in Misrod has lodged a complaint that a silver idol of Lakshmi Mata worth Rs 60 thousand has been stolen from the temple located in the hospital premises.
Police identified the woman from the car number
When the police, who were investigating on the basis of the complaint, checked the CCTV footage of the hospital, a suspicious woman was seen carrying two boxes in her hand. Later, the woman sat in a car and drove away. Police identified the woman from the car number. Later, when the police reached the woman’s house, the stolen idol was found there.
They steal idols to fulfill their hobbies.
The woman told the police that she was a physiotherapist and was stealing idols to fulfill her hobby. At present, the police have recovered the idol from the woman and have also seized the car used in the theft.
