About the programme

The MSc Machine Learning & Deep Learning degree focuses on the latest technologies and techniques, with an emphasis on architectures, algorithms, and implementation. Students will engage in hands-on, industry-relevant projects and examples, utilising programming languages and engineering tools widely used in products and services worldwide.

The University of Strathclyde has established partnerships with leading industry players, including Leonardo, Comcast (Sky), ORE Catapult, PNDC, Xilinx, Texas Instruments, MathWorks, NHS, Canon Medical Research, and Varian Ltd. Students will have the opportunity to work on industrially engaged projects, addressing real-world engineering challenges, with site visits, mentorship, and access to technical data and facilities.

Eligibility criteria:

Applicants need a first-class or second-class honours degree (or international equivalent) in electronic or electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.

Scholarships details:

International students starting the course in September 2025 may be eligible for a £5,000 scholarship.

The scholarship amount will be automatically deducted from tuition fees.
