The Faculty of Science Scholarship is available to online master’s students at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow for the January 2025 intake. These £1,800 scholarships will be given to new students who enrol in one of the Faculty of Science’s online programs beginning in January 2025 during the 2024–2025 academic year. The scholarship application deadline is December 12, 2024.

Eligibility criteria:

  • New students who have been offered admission to the University of Strathclyde Faculty of Science’s online MSc program for the January 2025 intake are eligible to apply for the award.

  • The student must pay for themselves.

  • This scholarship will not be awarded to students who have already been awarded full scholarships, such as those from an embassy or government agency.

  • Awardees must enrol in the first year of an online master’s program in the 2024–2025 academic year, starting in January 2025, and maintain all of the aforementioned eligibility requirements throughout their studies in order to be eligible for the scholarship.

About the scholarship:

The Faculty of Science offers three-year, part-time online master’s degrees. Subject to academic achievement, the scholarship will be given either a £600 reward for each of the three years of study or a £900 award for each of the two years of study to help with tuition costs.

According to an official statement, the prizes are only available for master’s degrees earned online; master’s degrees earned on campus are not eligible, and students who postpone their admission offer will also not be eligible.

After submitting a scholarship application, recipients will be contacted within four weeks of their award.
