Houston University’s ‘Live Hindu Religion’ courses are available for online students, in which video lectures will be given weekly by Professor Aaron Michael Uleri. Vasant Bhatt is a student of political science at this university. He has filed a complaint before the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences.
According to Bhatt, Professor Ulari reportedly stated that Hinduism is not an ancient and living religion, but a political equipment. It is used as a weapon by Hindu nationalists. This is a system of harassment of minorities. According to the report, Bhatt also offered evidence for this, which states that the word Hindu is modern and is not mentioned in these scriptures.

Bhatt, citing the syllabus, said, “Hindutva or Hindutva is a word that is used by Hindu nationalists to discredit their religion and especially Islam.” These people believe that Hinduism should be the official religion of India.
